PeLoHa
An invitation for retreat and connection.
From 1981 – 2022 – Hout Bay
From 2022 – now – Sedgefield
Peace Love Harmony
Always surrounded by mountains and trees
& peacefully nestled in Nature,
PeLoHa reminds us to follow our
own inner path in gratitude and awe
to this incredible Mystery: To connect
with ‘spirit’ and our own humanity;
to open wide without boundaries.
To breathe and embrace,
to feel and to be.
An invitation to retreat from the ‘noise’
PeLoHa is not owned by any person or group of people. It is an invitation
for seekers from all walks of life to retreat in order to reconnect not
only with themselves and others, but also in stillness, to ‘Source’ or
‘Nature’ in the broadest meaning of these words
(not excluding the notion of a Supreme Being).
An invitation which supports and encourages the ‘letting go’ of
outer distractions, facilitating a ‘return’ to one’s ‘Innermost’ –
whether through dance, art, music and movement or
through stillness, meditation, teachings and prayer.
PeLoHa then and now…
In the past, all have always been welcome to participate in whatever way one was drawn to PeLoHa. When PeLoHa was nested in Hout Bay, it had a breath-taking setting, views & a beautiful energetic feel. The experience of being at PeLoHa used to draw out a new and expanded dimension to any activity.
Now the invitation of PeLoHa is a place for personal retreats, only for those linked to the Heart of AND in Sedgefield.
Vision
The vision for PeLoHa (in perpetuity) is that it becomes a second ‘home’ for
all sincere ‘seekers’: Souls who feel called in whatever way to find back to
a more centred and grounded way of living; inspired and attuned
to both themselves as well as to the Whole.
Custodians
In PeLoHa, Hout Bay, the original custodians that appear to have been attracted to this space and who
lived in Hout Bay for centuries were the indigenous Khoisan people, said to be
skilled hunter-gatherers and nomadic farmers who lived off the land.
Between 1981 and 2022, the custodians were dedicated to the care and maintenance of PeLoHa in
accord with the cycles of Life & natural flow of events: In gratitude to Sri Ramana Maharshi,
Jesus Christ and Appa and in remembrance of the guiding influence that
these Lights have had on their inner lives.
Now the PeLoHa sanctuary moved to a quiet place in Sedgefield.
